Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self Care is an easy to learn, energetic, mind-body-spirit practice that uses a combination of breath and light touch on both sides of the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self Care is a Balancing & Harmonizing Practice, a Relaxation & Stress Reduction Practice, a Mind-Body-Spirit Practice, and a Wisdom Practice all rolled into one. Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self Care elicits the relaxation response, calms the nervous system, and decreases symptoms of discomfort, anxiety, stress, nausea, and fatigue. This dynamic practice is used in hospital, hospice, medical, and institutional settings with patients, caregivers and family members.
In this experiential workshop, Teri Meissner, Certified Jin Shin Jyutsu® Practitioner and Self Care Instructor, will introduce and guide you through simple Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self Care exercises to use on yourself and others. When you need some TLC, Jin Shin Jyutsu® is an important and valuable practice to keep you in balance.
