Mindful Yoga is offered as a moving meditation. It is a dynamic, breath-focused practice that links intelligently sequenced poses into a continuously flowing organic whole. This practice cultivates clarity of focus and builds inner heat, developing strength and flexibility in equal proportion.

Experience awareness of your mind, body, and breath. Explore the nuances of Yoga with; easeful flows targeted stretching & strengthening, and optimal alignment while linking movement to breathe.

Be guided through both the traditional and modern methods of Yoga asana (postures) to creatively and optimally move in your body. Refine your inner focus as you develop flexibility, strength, balance, and mindfulness.

You won’t be asked to push past your own healthy limitations, but you will find new frontiers. Modifications made for injuries/limitations. Open to all levels.

Mindful Yoga classes encourage deep experiential understanding of one’s own body. Breath, alignment, appropriate personal modifications and the use of props are stressed at every level of practice.

A seriously playful and inspiring yoga teacher – my teachings invite a meaningful connection and are full of self-discovery. I strive to expresses a depth of knowledge to students of all levels. My yoga classes weave the historic traditions of yoga with current relevance. I teach publicly and privately, educate and consult on Ayurvedic methods of health and wellness, mentor new yoga teachers, lead retreats, and teach seriously playful workshops.

As a student of yoga since 1995, I continue to broaden my studies with nationally recognized teachers.  I currently teach Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Alignment Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Relaxation, Meditation, Pranayama (breathing), Relaxation Techniques, Ayurveda and more.
